Mem has been involved with studying Kung Fu since 1998 and has been a member of the Chinese Kung Fu Wu Su Association in New York City since January 1999. The Association has been in existence since 1967 and is located at 28 West 27th Street in Manhattan. Mem can be found at Kung Fu temple on Monday and Wednesday night from 6-8 PM or Saturday afternoons from 3:30-6 PM.He is an Assistant Instructor and degree holder at the temple, where the level of the student's proficiency is identified by rank. The temple was founded by Grandmaster Alan Lee who also wrote the system which is taught at the Association. The system is based on the Shaolin style of kung fu and is taught in a traditional fashion.
